Steps to complete as the seller:

1. Transfer the Certificate of Title

   1. The seller and buyer must meet in person before a notary to witness and notarize the title transfer.

   2. Do not sign the title beforehand—the notary will instruct you where to sign.

      
      

2. Prepare Bill of Sale or Affidavit of Gift

   1. The seller drafts the form, which both parties sign in the presence of a notary.

FAQ: Why notarize a Bill of Sale

While notarization is not required for this document, it is recommended to:
